Can you tell us about your career journey and what inspired you to pursue the Global Talent Visa?
I first came to London in 2019 and fell in love with the city immediately. The multicultural vibe, the English language, culture and heritage, a lot of parks — I loved all of it. In 2021 I got to know about GTV and its endless opportunities and decided to apply.
Were there any specific goals or dreams you had in mind when you started this visa application process?
I wanted my future not to be dependent on any employers.
What made the Global Talent Visa stand out to you compared to other visa options available?
Again it's not being tied to one employer and also to be able to set up my business within the field of my talent.
In your opinion, why is the Global Talent Visa important for individuals in your field or industry?
It gives a lot of creativity in choosing opportunities and thus a lot of freedom for GTV holders to build their own businesses.
How has receiving the Global Talent Visa impacted your professional life?
When I came to the UK, I registered as self-employed from the very beginning and set up my business in digital marketing.
